It's picnic time!
We tried August — too hot.
We tried October — too chilly.
Hopefully, September will be just right!
SCCOGS will provide the chicken and paper products.
We ask everyone to bring a side dish, a drink, and a dessert to share.
PLEASE RSVP BY SEPTEMBER 8 AT 5:00 PM
We need a head count of everyone who will be joining you so that we can order enough chicken for Saturday.

Bring your family trees, research, photographs, documents, questions, and whatever else you're working on. Let's compare, share, network, and maybe even break down a brick wall or two! You may be surprised to discover that one of your SCCOGS friends is also a relative. What better place to find out than at a genealogy picnic?

America is celebrating 250 years of independence — and SCCOGS is celebrating 50 years! Yes, you read that right — SCCOGS is 50 years old this year!
That's half a century of collecting, preserving, sharing, and helping people discover their family history and the history of Scioto County and the surrounding area.
It should be a wonderful day filled with fun, fellowship, genealogy, and celebration, and I hope you all can make it! I can't wait to see you there!
